According to Daily News on August 7th, the East African Community is actively working to establish itself as the preferred destination for trade and investment, while providing businesses with the resources and networks they need to thrive in the constantly changing global economy. The region will host the East African Trade and Investment Summit and the 2025 World Expo in Nairobi, Kenya in October. This is not only a grand event, but also a catalyst for promoting regional growth, integration, and transformation. Yesterday, Mr. Adrian Enjo, Acting Executive Director of EABC, announced to the media at EABC headquarters in Arusha that this year's summit will be held on October 16-17, with the theme of "Promoting Private Sector to Drive Regional Integration, Increasing EAC Internal and External Trade and Investment". This event will gather over 600 attendees, including senior decision-makers, industry leaders, investors, and development partners from East Africa, the African continent, and internationally.
