According to ENA on May 14th, the "2025 Investment in Ethiopia High Level Business Forum" successfully concluded in Addis Ababa today, marking key progress in attracting foreign investment and promoting private sector development in Ethiopia. The two-day forum brought together investors and major stakeholders from around the world, highlighting Ethiopia's ongoing comprehensive economic reforms and successfully signing five major investment agreements with a total value exceeding $1.6 billion. Ethiopian Finance Minister Ahmed Shide emphasized that the government will continue to tirelessly create a dynamic environment for the growth of the private sector, ensure macroeconomic stability, and promote comprehensive reforms, including the recently launched macroeconomic reform plan. Minister Ahmed Shide warmly invited investors to participate in Ethiopia's transformation process and firmly stated that 'now is the golden time to invest in our country'.
