Port officials from Mutwalaji further intensified efforts to improve services and strengthen business ties following a working visit to Zanzibar. The core objective of the visit was to engage with clients and key stakeholders. A delegation led by Port Manager Ferdinand Nyati was received by Human Resources Director Hamis Salum Abdi at the Port Authority of Zanzibar. According to information provided by the Tanzania Port Authority (TPA), the visit aimed to meet with Mutwalaji's clients operating in Zanzibar, consolidate existing partnerships, gather feedback and suggestions, and focus on discussing operational challenges, particularly those related to the delivery of services at southern ports. During the inspection, officials also met with various stakeholders, including major investors overseeing Zanzibar Port's operations and one of TP Company's key clients—TP Company—which handles the transportation of Dangote Cement through Mutwalaji.
