Total Energy Marketing Uganda Limited opened a newly renovated liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling and storage plant in Jinja today, once again demonstrating its determination to provide reliable and cleaner cooking and industrial energy to Ugandan customers and support sustainable development. The renovated facility is equipped with the most advanced fully automated technology and necessary safety systems, ensuring precise filling, zero leakage, and tamper proof sealing of standardized gas cylinders, giving customers complete peace of mind - the purchased clean and safe energy solution has a gas volume that fully meets expectations. Biowa Agoku, Executive Vice President of Total Energy East and Central Africa, attended the commissioning ceremony and stated that the improvement of efficiency and capacity at the Jinja liquefied petroleum gas plant is an important part of Total Energy's global vision to provide clean cooking energy to 100 million people in Africa and India by 2030.
