According to an African Union envoy, the large-scale modernization efforts and rapidly evolving urban skyline in Addis Ababa are gradually transforming it into one of Africa's most dynamic business and continental diplomatic hubs. During an interview with Ethiopian News Agency (ENA), Liberta Muramula, the AU Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, praised the city's remarkable urban transformation over just a few years. Muramula noted that Addis Ababa's rapid modernization has surprised many international tourists and is helping the city join the ranks of Africa's fastest-growing urban centers. "The changes in Addis Ababa are astonishing," she remarked. Currently, the Ethiopian capital is implementing one of the country's largest urban renewal projects, aiming to establish it as a modern, green, and globally competitive business hub.
