This information was disclosed on March 2, 2026, during a formal meeting between Tanzanian President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and Ghanaian President John Mahama, aimed at advancing bilateral strategic cooperation, with a particular focus on economic reforms, youth employment, and the development of the digital economy. The meeting took place at the Arusha Presidential Palace, where the leaders discussed opportunities and strategies for adding value to domestic resources rather than continuously exporting raw materials to the international market.
