According to a report by *ENA* on October 30, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that Ethiopia's wheat production has seen a significant year-on-year increase. In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote: "The focus of our visit to East Shewa Zone today was to review the rainy-season wheat harvest and commence the production of summer wheat." In the same area, he also conducted a detailed inspection of the development of banana, pawpaw, and fisheries clusters. The Prime Minister noted: "Although traditional farming methods still hold a place, the continuous improvement in mechanization levels in the region has significantly enhanced agricultural efficiency and productivity."
