According to the Daily News on October 14th, CRDB Bank has injected 150 billion shillings into the coffee industry for 2024/2025, aiming to use financing to promote coffee production, enhance farmers' capabilities, and consolidate the country's position in the global coffee market. Mr. Rogers Mselle, the manager of agriculture and trade relations in the northern region of the bank, recently stated at the 6th Coffee Festival held in Kilimanjaro that these loans aim to promote the sustainable development of coffee production and improve the living standards of farmers. Mr. Msler, representing the manager of CRDB Northern Region, said, "These loans aim to support the coffee industry by providing low interest financing to farmers." He also added that these funds will help farmers pay for operating expenses during coffee cultivation. He stated that the majority of participants in the coffee industry chain are members of cooperative organizations, and banks have always been actively involved in this field.
