According to a September 29 report by the *Daily News*, Amos Makala, Regional Commissioner of Arusha and a certified public accountant, presided over the grand inauguration ceremony for the CRDB Bank Namanga Branch located in Lundu District. He emphasized that the branch would serve as a vital link for cross-border trade, foster business growth, enhance regional economic strength, and position Namanga as a hub for trade, agriculture, and investment. "Governments are continuously increasing investments in information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, including strengthening the national ICT broadband backbone network and actively fostering an environment conducive to innovation. Examples include digital banking services, mobile payment solutions, online banking, and investment products such as green bonds, Samia Infrastructure Bonds, and Islamic bonds. In introducing these products, CRDB Bank has consistently taken the lead," said CPA Makala. He further noted that these financial services are pivotal in improving citizens' well-being and driving national development, enabling people to save with confidence, secure loans to expand businesses and engage in economic activities, while also contributing to economic construction and poverty alleviation efforts.
